Presumably, you're using "v1" config with haresources. It's a feature of 
"v1", you need to either switch to "v2" config or use and external tool 
to monitor the services. For the latter the usual candidates are mon 
and/or snmpd from net-snmp (that supports "proc" and "procfix").
