Hey all, First post.
I have a couple of questions I would like to ask as I am stumped on all
the docos on the websites I look through.
1. CRM/CIB etc
hb_standby seems to no longer work when CIB is now used. So what command
forces resources to switch to the other node and please don't tell me
'killall -9 heartbeat'. There must be a graceful way to throw the
resources back to the primary.
I am buying a small IP based relay switching device which is web based
and after logging in you can switch on and off relays for any device.
I'm planning to script it so units can STONITH when needed. Since it's
IP based, I only need 1 unit as the other idea I had was a parrallel
port real world interface which I've done programming for in the past
but the idea of parrallel port makes me shiver..
I tried to figure out how to make entries in CIB to do a basic browse
with login/pass and node name to nuke the other machine and I seriously
can't figure it out.... Getting old :P So I don't know how to properly
add a stonith entry so they can stonith the other node with my script..
I've seen examples of external/ssh and they added multiple entries and
so on and it just didn't look like what I needed so any help here on a
simple STONITH for each node would help me heaps.
