They can, but again, you've found a bug ;-)

Please file a bugzilla entry, and include the backtraces from the
coredumps. The mailing list is not the proper way to report bugs;
bugzilla is a lot easier to track, and there's no harm in filing reports
which turn out not to be bugs.

The hb_report tool you used would include them as well, but it appears
you did not tar up the complete report directory.
