andrew, thats great to hear.

for all of you who cannot wait for new interim builds, you can always 
get a special and/or the latest revision [1] and build your own interim 
release.

at least for debian, this seems to work quite well - i today build 
heartbeat_2.1.2-c2183a2caa71 and it does the things i expect :)
