[Linux-HA] Can I switch master/slave roles?

Hi,

I'm new to Heartbeat so please excuse any ignorance.

I want to use heartbeat to failover a postgresql 8.2 server.
I'm using the WAL shipping scheme to replicate postgresql (the DB's are
local to the cluster machines).
When a failover occurs, I would like the slave to become the new master and
the master to come up as the slave upon recovery. Is this possible?
