[Linux-HA] advice on configuration

Hmm, well the apache init script didn't start apach2 with me, and the
MailTo script just didn't work with me. So dunno what else I can tell
ya, though I posted my work-arounds no matter how tacky they are they
get things done for me.

I'll take a look at the logd thing more.
