[Linux-HA] advice on configuration

Hmm maybe you can take some suggestions from me. There are somethings
not mentioned in the docs that I had to figure out myself. Such as the
services to start in the haresources file. I had to make many symbolic
links from the Heartbeat's resource.d/  dir
to my gentoo /etc/init.d/  dir.  Stuff like a sym link to the apache2
or courier-imapd scripts.
Heartbeat 2.0.7 came with apache 1 start up script but not apache2.
There are tons of others like ldirectord even.

Another thing, if you are like me and have postfix installed as the
mailserver, the MailTo script that comes with heartbeat won't work. I
googled my butt off to see if anyone had the same problem but no luck.
I had to edit it like so for it to work:

cd /usr/lib/ocf/resource.d/heartbeat
vi MailTo
----
MailProgram() {
     echo -e "Subject:$1<nFrom:Heartbeat<heartbeat at mycluster.net>\nTo:$email"
| sendmail root at mycluster.net
      return $?
}
