this must've been the proxy at my workplace, i got just the linux-ha
org headings and sidebars but no content on two different boxes I
tried. Sorry about that and thank You for pointing to the

I'm aware the application needs to be able to handle most of the thinking there.
but - i think the people asking / reading the faq do it for a common reason.
especially the haresources file is so straightforward that the
- proposed configuration is obvious
- one is left wondering how to go into 'parallel' mode.
side note: everyone of the people i know that deal with highly
available stuff and
most books I read so far seem to agree that active/active means there
is a parallel
processing of data. and while You might call me paranoid I get the feeling that
certain vendors seek an easy solution in redefining the term instead
of implementing

I read the pdf on that, but got lost after a few dozen pages of xml, i
guess i should've
chosen the video instead!
