[Linux-HA] generic question regarding heartbeat

out of curiousity, what was/were the driving factors regarding the syntax change from the loose
format in version 1.xx to xml in version 2.xx? after reading through the docs, i understand that xml
is the way to go going forward but the previous(and a little more readable verison 1 syntax) is
still supported....is this correct?

what is the recommended method for cib.xml creation?
