Hello, Leon -
I'd be glad to help you out with setting up that HA configuration. If
you need just a Apache an MySQL servers you won't need to put them
into separate virtual boxes, you can just combine them into one HA
group and put under Heartbeat control. There are some questions
though:
1. How are you going synchronize you databases between sites?
2. What kind of connections to Internet do you have for those sites?
3. Because both sites are located in the different physical locations
it'll be hard to implement any of STONITH devices. Without those
devices controlling a "split brain" scenario becomes critical. It'd be
good to have a third box for a quorumd server (a server that would
control which node becomes active in case if they can't talk to each
other).
Price would be $50 per hour.
