[Linux-HA] heartbeat 1.2.3 / linux 2.6.10 / ping-ipfail problem

I was the earlier person to have this problem.

Ipfail works correctly for me with the 2.6.10/1.99.2 combination.

I was not able to initially get core file and then I had a hardware 
failure so the project has been on hold. I'll try again soon, but have 
limited time to trouble shoot is the later series is stable (it has been 
for me).
