I knew you knew it - but you didn't mention it - and it _is_ relevant to 
the discussion at hand.

Requiring a double failure doesn't decrease the consequences of the 
problem - it just makes it less likely.

BUT the short answer is...

DRBD will refuse to take over if it knows things are inconsistent.  The 
case Lars and I are talking about is really when it can fail to know 
it's inconsistent.
