Hi,

I just saw this on legato's web site. They've released a clustering
solution for Linux (Caldera and RedHat supported), called
Legato Cluster Enterprise. They appear to use perl scripts
to configure and tune the cluster. Here's a small blurb from
the press release:

About Legato's Cluster Solutions

Legato's Cluster product line provides high-availability solutions
protecting service
levels of applications, servers, networks and data within enterprise data
centers,
Web sites and departments. Legato's Cluster product line is the first
heterogeneous clustering product line supporting Solaris, Linux, Windows
NT/2000, HP-UX and AIX platforms, all manageable together from the same GUI
console. Legato Cluster solutions are uniquely suited to protecting the
availability
of SAN, NAS, WAN and e-commerce deployments.

Pricing and Availability

Legato Cluster Enterprise on Linux is available immediately from Legato
Systems, priced at $8624 per server. Legato eCluster on Linux is available
immediately from Legato Systems, priced at $2000 per Web server.

They also offer a 60 evaluation trial. The entire press release can be found
