Heartbeat Software now available

I finally have put the first version of the High-Availability Linux
heartbeat software up for download.

This first release only supports serial ports for intra-cluster
communication.  I've tested it with two machines, but it should work
with more.  For now, you should plan on consuming both serial ports on a
machine if your cluster has more than two nodes in it.

The software is available in tar.gz format, but I expect to make an RPM
version of it available in the next release or so.

If one puts this together with Horms' IP address takeover, you have the
rudiments of basic high-availability core software.

Of course, I hope to hear that many people have downloaded it, and have
it working in the near future :-)
